This is a half-day sightseeing tour that takes you to the Nairobi city tour excursion tasty walk of the city-in-the-sun with a local guide’s’, in the historic buildings, public parks, where you have ample time for close photography, bargain and diversified shopping while visiting the stately Parliament buildings, Kenyatta International Conference Centre and the colorful Nairobi city market also a visits to Kenya National archives & Watatu art gallery , as well as the National Museum and Snake Park.
The Nairobi National Museum founded in 1920, and established at its present location in 1929. It offers visitors the chance to learn about Kenya’s history, culture, paleontology and art. The Museum building got a complete overhaul in the past decade, and reopened its doors in 2008. Many of the fascinating anthropological discoveries by the Leakey family can be found in the Museum. The large collection of stuffed birds is also impressive. A botanical garden and two restaurants make it a nice place to visit for a few hours and escape the more crowded, traffic congested city center.
Adjacent to Nairobi National Museum is the Nairobi snake park which in the actual sense is a reptile park as it displays the representatives from all the members of the reptile group. The park has been and still is a constant visitor attraction center. In fact a visit to the museum is never complete without making a visit to the snake park.
